Her Own Boss: What’s your business called? When.  did you set it up?

Kamshi Empire: The name of my business is called Kamshi_Empire. And it was established in the year 2016.

Her Own Boss: What made you decide to set up your own business?

Kamshi Empire: What made me to start my own business is that I want to to be independent, I can Cater for myself, kids and also support the family in one way or the other.

Her Own Boss: What ignited the spark in you to start a new business venture or to make significant changes in an existing business? How did the idea for your business come about?

Kamshi Empire: when I started my business the spark Was more like, a pivot in my life wherein I just accepted that it was time for me and that this had to be done.

Her Own Boss: What three pieces of advice would you give to OUR NORTHERN WOMEN people who want to become entrepreneurs?

Kamshi Empire: My advice for northern women is to have something doing. No matter how small the business might be, nor effort is ever wasted. In business you need 3 things prayer, determination and patience.

Her Own Boss: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

Kamshi Empire: Resiliency, focus and invest for long term.

Her Own Boss: WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE YOU FACED SO FAR IN YOUR JOURNEY AND WHERE YOU ABLE TO OVERCOME THEM?

Kamshi Empire: A lot of challenges came along the line, even my step mum made fun of my business in presence of my siblings and other people saying it will not take me anywhere, I am not discourage For I know is just the matter of tume patience and determination. Yes I over come them.

Her Own Boss: How many hours do you work a day on average?

Kamshi Empire: 6 hours a day.

Her Own Boss: How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?

Kamshi Empire: Gaskiya been an entrepreneur has not affected my family in any way cos am the boss, I am my own boss,  I make sure my plans does not affect my family.

Her Own Boss: How do you generate new ideas?

Kamshi Empire: well, my own case is different I pray nafila(midnight )prayers to almighty Allah to give me ideas. I dream of them sometimes they come as imagination.

Her Own Boss: Is your business profitable?

Kamshi Empire: yes it’s profitable.

Her Own Boss: Who has been your greatest inspiration?

Kamshi Empire: My mum has been my greatest inspiration.

Her Own Boss: What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?

Kamshi Empire: As an entrepreneur I have time for myself and my family too. I am my own boss, do things on my own terms. Unlike working under someone you work with orders and having less time for the family.

Her Own Boss: In one word, characterize your life as an entrepreneur.

Kamshi Empire: Alhamdulillah INDEPENDENT. With this business I can Cater for myself, kids, and meet the family’s needs help people sometimes in one way or the other I thank God for that.

Her Own Boss: What sacrifices have you had to make to be an entrepreneur?

Kamshi Empire: I do too but as soon as I became an entrepreneur my sleeping schedule became messy.

Her Own Boss: Where do you see yourself and your business in 10 years? 20 years?

Kamshi Empire: I hope to see myself(Kamshi_Empire ) in the next 10-20 years from now, as a contented person who would have fulfilled all her dreams and would be helping others to fulfill their dreams.
